Since 2003, Golf Fore the Kids has brought hope to the many
kids battling
cancer in Connecticut and throughout the country. Through
the support of
people like you, we have donated over $300,000 to the Jimmy
Fund,
Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, the Hole-In-The-Wall-Gang
Camp,
and other organizations dedicated to helping kids receiving
treatment and in memory of those who’s battle has
ended.
Our own brave little soul, Jacob Aaron Osit battled cancer
for almost 6 years before passing away on August 23, 2007
less than a month after his
10th birthday. Our efforts continue to be dedicated to his
memory and so many others who have battled so bravely.
Although finding support in this difficult economy is challenging,
the need
does not stop when times are tough. 70 new kids were diagnosed
with
cancer at the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center
last year and over
100 kids are actively in treatment. Your support is needed
more than ever
to bring smiles as they continue their battle and ultimatley
win the fight.
